my best friends miso soup

love this soup
Miso soup.
ingredients : Miso soybean paste. (he uses yellow miso)
Hon-dashi ( bonito fish soup stock )
Wakame ( dry sea weeds )
Tofu ( silk type )

2 quarts of water,let boil then , add 4 table spoon of miso soybean paste.
1 table spoon of bonito fish stock.
1/2 of the tofu cut in to 1/4 inch square. cook for 10 minutes.
1/2 spoon of wakami , soak in cold water first for 5 minutes. then add wakame last let it boil for a minute and serve.

If you want the soup to be thicker add soy paste.
If need more flavor add bonito fish stock.

Which miso is used? red? white? yellow? I would imagine either white or yellow, but the choice will make a significant difference in the taste of the final product.

I see the bonito stock as being something of a challenge!

he uses yellow
the stock you can choose ur druthers :)
Ingredients: come combo of
•3 inches dried kombu (kelp) seaweed
•2 ounces bonito (dried fish) flakes taste / adjust /
