Windows 7 Crash

Post by Irabbit » November 30th, 2017, 2:47 pm

My windows 7 crashed this morning right before I got up. I ran a scandisk and the only thing it found was some free space was marked as allocated in the master file table and it fixed the error. I checked the event log and found ""Sleepinprogress True" at the time of the crash. There were 87,999 events under "Application" with about half of them attributed to Sophos. I could not look at all, but the majority were SWIMaster in failure. Component will not be returned. Also, ICManager in failure. Component will not be returned. I have not noticed any problem with Sophos. There were many other listings, but I don't have the time to address everyone of the 87,999. Any thoughts?

I opened Device Manager and checked for any yellow/red flags. None were found and everything was shown as device is working properly.

try the intel update utility and see if there are newer drivers and you might want to run spinrite on the drive but that you have to pay for
