UBlock Origin has been around and is pretty good
don't know if that is the correct link but most of the installs are add ons or from the store associated with the browser

When I click on "Add to Chrome" it gives a popup that states:
"It can read and change all your data on the web sites you visit
Change you privacy-related settings"
I assume that is related to blocking ads on the web pages I would visit. I would also think it could apply to non-add blocking activity, although I have no idea if that would happen.

Thanks. I will have to absorb this for a while. It goes rather quickly and is a little hard for me to understand. I will have to go through this a few times, but it looks like it would really help.
